Release 1.3.0 - 5v5 PvP
New Features
5v5 ‘Infinite Arena’
New PvP mode based on ELO ratings.
The first 20 wins of each day give greater rewards and PvP Coins based on your rating at the end of each battle.
The arena can be set to continuously find and battle opponents (auto repeat).
Achieve higher ratings to gain access to PvP items and Hero unlock items in the shop!
Introduction of capes. These are only available as part of the PvP shop.
Spell skills are auto cast for both sides.
UI Refresh
Most parts of the UI have had their sprites changed.
Now featuring less brown! :)
I will continue to update the remaining parts of the UI over time.
Added new popups for honour level up and chest opening.
Auto Repeat!
Zones can now be repeated automatically.
It will not auto advance or use potions automatically.
Two New Classes
Silent Knight - can silence enemies, stopping them from casting skills.
Ritualist - can remove positive buffs from enemy units.
Summon System Rework
Probabilities have all been divided by 10. E.g. A premium summon now has a 1/50 change of a genius.
There are now two types of tokens. Basic and Premium. There will be a limited time shop option that allows you to convert the Basic tokens you have now to Premium tokens.
Basic rolls now cost 10 Basic tokens.
Premium rolls will cost 1 Premium token.
Choosing not to hire a hero will award you certificates and skill books, depending on the hero rarity.
Reincarnation Rework
Henceforth known as ‘Breakthrough’.
Breakthroughs will no longer reset the hero to level 1.
You will no longer receive Certificates for Breakthroughs, only Skill Books.
All stat increases remain the same.
Armor Rework
Armor now provides a percentage reduction to the incoming damage, rather than a 1-to-1 reduction.
Armor reduction also decreases incoming Crit Damage by the same amount.
Damage reduction is calculated based on the Armor value. The Damage reduction percentage increases more slowly, as the armor value increases.
New Stat Types
Toughness - Reduces the chance of being critically hit.
Accuracy - Reduces the chance an attack is dodged.
Stun Resist - Reduces the chance of being stunned.
Multiple Formations
You can now have up to 5 formations for each mode (PVE, 9v9, 5v5).
Defence formations are used when a player is attacked in a PvP mode. Remember to update them!
Hero Background Change
Costs 3 Genius Zephys plus a hero of the same talent level.
The hero takes the background of the sacrificial hero and that hero is retired.
Item Transmog
Make one item look like another item!
Costs 1 Crystal of Transmogification.
The item is NOT consumed when used. It is attached to the other item and can be removed for free at any time.
Back Items
New equipment slot - ‘Back’.
These items are available from the PvP Shop.
They contain only Toughness, Accuracy and Stun Resist.
Reworked Chest System
Zones now award items directly rather than chests.
There is now a Chest section in the Shop. These chests have a level range and are not tied to one specific rarity.
Scaled chests are still given in some circumstances, but are much less common now.
VIP Levels 11 &12
Increased potion duration
Increased available Workshops.
Up to 100% auto chest pickup.
More item and hero slots.

Balance Changes
Guardian’s Mountain skill now redirects a small amount of damage from multiple friendly units to the caster. It not longer increases Block Rate.
Paladin’s Divine Shield now redirects a large amount of damage from a single friendly unit to the caster. It not longer makes the Paladin invulnerable.
The Vampire background now give 30% vampirism instead of 15%.
The Nurse background now gives 15% Vampirism instead of 5%.
Added more equipment that were previously implemented, but was missing icons. This includes at least 1 legendary shield.
New achievements have been added for survival, 5v5, daily zones and dungeons. These will show up in all 3 achievement types.
The Scholar class can now hold a shield in their offhand.
Units now walk much faster.
Crit, Block and Dodge rates on items have been halved and are no longer affected by item rarity.
Most skills now start on cooldown, with the exception of charge type skills and those that are long running.
Stun bosses no longer appear until Honour level 20.
Item level for blueprints and scaled chests are now based on the average number of heroes that a player is able to field (minus one), regardless of how many they actually own or have in a formation.
Worlds now require a number of heroes of a minimum level to be used in a formation.
There is now a hard limit of 10 for the number of Zephys a player can get from referrals.
Number of skill books awarded for 21 daily conquests has been increased.
QOL
Grasslands enemy sprites have been updated.
The Summoner ‘Healy’ unit has had its sprite updated.
Improved the effect when enemy units are hit.
Login reward now continues counting down while offline.
Item icons now show an E icon in them, when they are equipped to a hero.
You can now view the total stats available for a given Mastery Tree. You will also be given the option to decline a mastery tree reset after viewing the new trees stat changes (this will still consume the Lobotomizer).
Auto conquest now unlocks at honour level 5.
The item upgrade screen now sorts items in a sensible way.
You can now unlock dungeons (and see their requirements) on days they are not active.
Added the top and bottom of the screen as ‘deferred gesture’ edges in iOS. This should stop the iOS system menu from accidentally popping up.
You can now enlighten heroes of all talents.
Bug Fixes
Skill orbs that give elemental damage to skills now function properly.
Formation rune stats should now be applied correctly.
The long running Shinigami skill will no longer be wiped between waves.
Daily purchases should no longer change when another item is purchased.
Fixed issue with daily zones not resetting properly.
Fixed issue with item affinities sometimes disappearing.
Fixed issue with mastery orb names disappearing.
Fixed issue with survival now exiting properly when using the surrender button.
Survival stages should no longer skip.
The exchange items quest now counts stacks of items properly.
Fixed issues with in app purchases intermittently not working.
Fixed issue with some achievements double counting.
Skill book count in the Mastery Tree screen now updates correctly after updating a node.
Fixed issue where blueprints purchased from shop could vanish if a crash occurred soon after.
